Online course: The new European standard for cybersecurity for CE marking of products – EN 18031
Full-day online course
📅 Date: Thursday, 5 December
🕙 Time: 09:00 - 16:00 CET
In 8 months, cybersecurity must be documented for Europe, and the standard is the new EN 18031!
By popular demand, Nemko is therefore arranging a new 1-day online course where you will get a solid introduction to the new standard as well as an update of the new regulations in general.
We start by going through the regulations at a general level, including scope and interpretations, and how these requirements best can be met by manufacturers and other actors. Then we dive more into the technical requirements surrounding the new standard. We will go through the structure and principles of the new standard, before we go through a selection of the requirements. We continue with a small workshop to get the requirements a little more under the skin before we end with a Q&A session and distribution of course certificates.
Parts of the course will be relatively technical and go into some details, but large parts are relevant to anyone with an interest in cybersecurity.
We also realize that all questions may not be covered during the course, so all participants will also receive a voucher for 1 hour of guidance that can be used at a later date.
Time: Thursday, 5 December | 09:00 - 16:00 CET
Price: NOK 5600 (EUR ~475)
Language: English

Summary and Q&A |
Not a webinar!
We all get tired from watching only a continuous stream of PowerPoints so we will make the day as varying as possible, with personal speakers, quizzes, Workshops and Q&A – and yes, some PowerPoints as well.
Also, we encourage more people to sit together to watch – that will always enhance the experience.
Pay for one – bring your whole team!
With one ticket your whole team may join in together without stretching your budget. And truth be told, it is much more interesting to participate sitting together as well as more effective when being able to discuss the topics with your colleagues.
Didn’t get all the answers?
In a group of several participant it may be difficult to answer all questions, and maybe also you do not want to share information of your product in public.
No worries, each ticket comes with a complimentary 1-hour individual video meeting where we can focus on your questions and your product. That 1-hour may easily be worth the fee!
Play it again, Sam!
If you are unable to sit in the entire day or want to replay some parts, that is no problem as you will get access to recording of the entire day, divided into manageable sections.
You may even share it with colleagues who did not participate in the course.
Lunch?
We are sorry we are not able to offer any snacks, but we will have breaks just like in any other course, including a lunch break. For those having their lunch in front of the screen, we will try to put together some entertainment as well.
