    Define your role within Nemko.
    I am a Sales Executive in Nemko Group AS Taiwan branch. I mainly focus on selling safety certifications &  International Approval. I also sell other services that Nemko Group provides while developing new leads for our regular-based clients and maintaining current clients. Besides that, I am also doing communication, coordination & project management between clients and Nemko project handlers.

    How did you choose this career path?
    I started this career by accident; I sent my resume to any opening position that I think I am qualified for after graduation. BVCPS hired me as RF/Telecom IA project handler, and then I joined Nemko as a sales executive.

    What do you enjoy most about your job at Nemko?
    I like to interact with people while working, and my job allows me to contact many fun people internally and externally. Also, the hi-tech products are ever-changing, and so are the regulations. I enjoy learning new things all the time.

    Are there any challenges that you’ve faced during your career that have taught you important lessons?
    When a client asks to shorten reasonable lead time while looking for a low price on our service, it’s very challenging. In the early years, I pushed engineers to meet clients’ expectations. I had to learn to adapt the way I handled business and carried myself, so I could meet expectations and customers.

    What do you think the industry will look like in 20 years?
    It will become more complicated in this industry for new technology/products to be invented, and new standards/regulations will be generated with this new development. However, new business opportunities will grow as usual. We must keep up with the ever-changing industry.

    What do you find most rewarding about your role?
    When my clients give me a big thank you or say that my service is excellent or that Nemko is the most professional certified body in the world, showing how much, they support Nemko makes me very happy.

    What are some market trends you’re keeping an eye on?
    Cyber security and electric automobile. When humans rely increasingly on portable devices in many aspects, particularly online pay, cyber security will become very important and mandatory to keep safe. Not only does Nemko care for the environment, but all human society must also care for the environment. We could expect that electric cars will replace the gasoline automobile. One of my key accounts transforms their product manufacturing from ITE to automobile peripherals, such as LCD displays & battery charging systems for car use.

    When not working, how do you spend your spare time?
    I am a city girl. I like reading, watching movies & TV series. I also enjoy going to the theater to see performances such as dance, music, and drama. I also enjoy hanging out with my friends in a coffee shop or tea house. I used to travel overseas once a year before the breakout of Covid-19.
