Successful joint customer AI seminar in Korea

 On 13 March Nemko Korea hosted a joint customer seminar about artificial intelligence (AI) and cybersecurity, in collaboration with the Korean Standards Association (KSA). The venue was the facilities of KSA in Seoul. 
The objective was to provide participants with insights into the latest industry trends and practical applications of both AI and cyber security. 

The KSA is a global organization which has for over 60 years played a crucial role in standardization, quality management, technology advancement, and talent development, contributing significantly to the growth of national industries and enterprises in Korea. 
Recently, KSA has taken a proactive approach in the AI sector, introducing AI+ certification, a certification system designed to support AI regulations and industry development in the domestic market.

The present seminar is in line with the agreement between Nemko Group and KSA on AI regulations, compliance and advancement which was signed in November last year during a ceremony held in Seoul. 

The speakers at the present seminar were experts from Nemko Digital (in Europe) together with experts from KSA as well as from Nemko Korea. 
Part of the AI session was presentations about Nemko’s AI Trust services as well as of KSA’s AI+ certification which were followed by detailed discussions to ensure the participants’ practical insights and understanding. 
Also, the rapidly growing field of cybersecurity, was duly covered to provide the participants with essential knowledge to navigate in this evolving landscape. 

During their stay in Korea, the experts from Nemko Digital in Europe did in addition have a busy schedule of training Nemko Korea employees visiting KSA and visiting several customer companies (including Samsung, LG, and medical device manufacturers).
The feedback from both the seminar participants and people at the companies visited was very positive.
