Nemko China Relocates to Shenzhen: Enhancing Operations in the High-Tech Hub

                                                                                                                                                                                       

The office and laboratories of Nemko China in Shenzhen, South China have now moved and started operation in another location. The new place is only about 2 km from the previous location and still close to the high-tech area.

The new facilities have much more space, offer improved working environment for both the personnel as well as visitors, and allow for further business expansion.

Already in 1994 Nemko arranged a successful customer seminar at the Landmark Hotel in Shenzhen when it was still a 'small' fishing village with some30 000 people, whereas now amazingly having a population of about 13 mill. and being a major center of electronics industry.

The first establishment of Nemko in Shenzhen was as a representative office in 1998 and then in 2013 a laboratory primarily for testing of electronic products was established at the previous location. The scope of testing capability has since been gradually expanded and currently includes, amongst other, IT & A/V equipment, household appliances, lighting equipment, installation material, energy efficiency and cyber security.
The laboratory’s scope of testing is (either wholly or partly) recognized/accepted/accredited by various international/ regional schemes and national organizations/authorities, including  IECEE, CNAS, TAF, NRTL, TCB, ENEC, ZLS, EPA and TCO.

Relocation assessments by the IECEE and TAF have already been completed while such assessments by other
organizations/authorities are being scheduled. 
Representatives of the Nemko Group corporate management were present during the opening of the new facilities, and there has since been visits by representatives of major customers, including Lenovo.
