- European cyber security standard ‘harmonized’

The European standard series EN 18031 (Common security requirements for radio equipment),as published in August last year to support the European Radio Equipment Directive (RED), has now (on 30 January) become listed in EU’s Official Journal as 'Harmonized’ with some restrictions.
This marks a significant development for manufacturers of radio equipment, as these standards address cybersecurity requirements that will become mandatory for CE-marking from 1 August this year.
