Autumn Seminars Highlight Cybersecurity and AI Safeguards

The in-person seats were sold out ahead of the Nemko USA’s customer seminar in
California in September, and likewise for Nemko Scandinavia’s annual customer seminar mid-
October in Oslo. Thus, a number of the participants had to take part virtually online.
Both these events were conducted in English and had a total of about 60 persons participating, mostly representatives of manufactures/suppliers of electrical/ electronic equipment in different countries.

Similarly, Nemko Italy did early October arrange their annual seminar in Milan for Italian customers where some 40 manufacturer representatives participated. 
Then, Nemko Taiwan did mid-October arrange a customer seminar in Taipei about cyber security, which was a follow-up of a similar seminar in September for customers in Hsinchu Science Park, Taiwan’s equivalence to the Science Park in California, USA.

In early October, cyber security was also the sole theme during a webinar by Nemko Norway. It was also amongst the highlights of the seminars in California and Oslo, in addition to services to safeguard against harm from Artificial Intelligence (AI) which is offered by the newly launched company Nemko Digital. As usual, the themes of the customer seminars included updates on regulatory requirements for market access in different countries worldwide and on relevant technical standards.
Examples were given on how to address various upcoming requirements to provide knowledge that those concerned can use in their daily work.

In all the abovementioned events, the presenters were a mixture of invited guest speakers and Nemko experts in different fields.
