Nemko's services
EMC/EMI Testing
Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and radio frequency (RF) testing is used to analyze whether or not a device can operate as it should when in close contact with other devices.
Wireless
The development of innovative, wireless technologies has brought new products online that never before had wireless connectivity, revolutionizing once-manual and disconnected business processes across a range of industries.
Environmental & Dynamic Testing
Determine if your product can withstand exposure to its intended environment through a wide range of environmental and reliability tests performed by experts at the accredited Nemko laboratory for mechanical stress and climatic conditions.
Reliability & Materials Testing
The Nemko reliability laboratory works closely with our EMC (electromagnetic compatibility) and safety laboratories, providing you with one-stop-shopping for full range testing of your product.
Electrical Product Safety
Testing, inspecting, and certifying products in order to achieve compliance with product safety standards is a crucial part in ensuring consumer safety while using these associated products.
Machinery Product Safety
Nemko’s industrial machinery safety testing assessment works to minimize potential machine defects and maximize the product’s level of compliance according to Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC for the CE Marking Machinery Directive.
Hazardous Locations & Explosive Atmospheres testing
Our team of experienced ATEX and IECEx compliance engineers deliver a flexible and commercial approach to approvals, offering you a fast and cost-effective route into international markets, starting in the design phase of your new products.
Field Labeling
Nemko offers Field Evaluation and Special Inspection Services in the US and Canada as a fast and economical alternative to traditional product safety certification.
In-situ EMC Testing

Reliability
Altitude Testing
Nemko is capable of simulating up to an equivalent of 70,000 feet while also maintaining temperature. Chambers include sizes up to 24” X 24” X 48”. These altitude chambers are also capable of rapid decompression, as a pump can simulate a loss of cabin pressurization.
Salt Fog Testing
Nemko can create a salt fog environment to simulate the effects of a marine environment. Determining how a product will fair in a corrosive atmosphere is important for many products. PTI’s primary method of simulating this is in a salt fog chamber, which is 24″ X 24″ X 48″. Typically a product is immersed in the environment for 24-72 hours.
